Why we give.
We believe in the Biblical principle of tithing as a reflection of our obedience, gratitude and faith in God's provision. Giving financially is not merely an act of charity but a testament to our understanding that all we have is a blessing from God. It is a way to support our church's mission to spread The Gospel of Jesus Christ, God's word, and care for those in need within our community. As we contribute, we are reminded of the generosity of God's love and are inspired to emulate this generosity in our daily lives.
Ways To Give
Give Online
To support our mission from the comfort of your home, ASBC has made online giving a convenient option. Just follow the directions in the righthand column of this page. Fill in the amount you wish to contribute, which church fund you are donating to and follow the remaining prompts. You will get an emailed receipt. Rest assured that all transactions are secure, and your personal information is handled with utmost care. Through these simple steps, you can continue to support our work and help us spread the light of God's love.
Give In Person
If you prefer to give in person during our services, we have traditional collection plates located at both the front and back of the sanctuary. At any point during the morning fellowship or before the service, feel free to walk up to these stations and place your offerings in the plates. Whether you give through cash, check, or pre-prepared envelopes, your commitment to our mission is deeply appreciated. This way of giving is not only a tangible demonstration of your faith but also invites a moment of personal reflection and gratitude for God's bountiful provisions.
Mail A Check
For those who would like to contribute through mail, we welcome your donations as well. Please make your check payable to Arthur Southern Baptist Church and mail it to 530 North Vine St., Arthur, Illinois, 61911. To ensure your mailed donation is correctly attributed, we recommend including a note specifying your full name, contact information, and any special intentions for the donation. It's important to note that giving this way might take a few days to process, but rest assured, your support will reach us and contribute to our mission.
